Marketing Coordinator
What this role is…
As the Marketing Coordinator, the primary function of this position is to create cohesive brand and customer experiences that drive our business performance. In this role, you will be the bridge between the Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising teams to deliver a unified approach across channels including social, digital, TV, in-store, email, catalog, direct mail, and website among others.
You will be responsible for connecting the dots across a multitude of different but interconnected areas and will champion the integrity of our brand voice and customer experience.
You have strong people skills and can foster internal and external relationships including experience managing agencies and vendors. You think outside the box, enjoy fast-paced work, and are motivated by success. You are very process-oriented, know how to develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and resources, and are comfortable working cross-functionally to execute strategies and ensure brand consistency.
This position is required to work a flexible 40 hour work week Monday through Friday. This role can be remote but may require some days to work in the corporate offices. The position requires limited light lifting upon request. Travel is minimal and contained within the US.
What you’ll do…
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Integrated Marketing - Manage the daily execution of our Ashley channels across email, text, online video, direct mail, in-store, etc. Work with the Sr. Marketing Manager, Merchandising, and Creative Teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver advertising campaigns and promotions. Proof content, pricing, and offers on advertising materials. Maintain advertising updates and schedules.
- Project Management – Executes projects on time and on budget. Maintains project tracking sheets in order to ensure deadlines are met. Creates meeting agendas, sends out appointments, takes notes and performs meeting follow up. Manages relationships and rapports with internal and external vendors and customers including but not limited to creative, photo studio, merchandising, printers, and vendors. Meets with key suppliers regularly to keep up to date on projects and new opportunities.
- Campaign Optimization - Drive growth while improving ROI and customer LTV across channels. Weekly monitoring, testing (A/B testing) and optimization of campaign performance. Leverage internal data, partner insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape to make data-based recommendations for perpetual improvements and share learnings across channels; consistently learn, test, execute, and iterate.
- Agency Management – Help manage multiple external agency partners to deploy the channel best practices, negotiate costs, ensure deliverables are committed on time, and continuously improve quality of output.
