About the Role
We are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team in Swords, Dublin. You will be responsible for the events, influencer campaigns & PR area of our marketing team, and report directly to the Heads of Marketing.
Smyths Toys is an Irish owned toy retailer with over 200 stores across Europe, as well as a phenomenal online presence. We have plans for further expansion and a constant drive to improve what we do. There’s never been a more exciting time to join our team.
Your Responsibilities as a Marketing Executive will include:
- Working with top toy brands to execute and launch national events across the UK and Ireland including in store parties, seasonal events, supplier events and coordinating the associated marketing campaigns.
- Working on influencer campaigns, liaising with stores to film in store influencer content and building your own child/ baby/ parent influencer database.
- Creating press releases and coverage for key campaigns and supporting PR on all national campaigns.
- Coordinating press drops
- Engaging with brand partner charities
- Dealing with PR enquiries for TV / Radio shows
- Coordinating promos on deal sites and offer pages
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Have good oral & written communication
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Be adaptable and enjoy working in ultra fast paced environments
- Have a third level degree in Business, PR, Marketing or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
