Marketing Manager, EPiQ

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with manufacturer partners to develop marketing plans that measure and achieve sales, market share and other stated business partnership goals.
  • Develops and oversees completion of detailed marketing plans for every manufacturer partner in conjunction with appropriate internal and external personnel.
  • Defines and documents targeted marketing programs to achieve agreed upon objectives with manufacturer partners.
  • Conducts market research or works with market research firms to identify trends and needs of vet customers.
  • Collaborates with member distributor sales/marketing teams to develop specific and targeting programs that will drive awareness and sales through their sales force.
  • Works with manager to develop marketing budget for EPiQ and each manufacturer partner.
  • Manages development of dashboard/reports to monitor ROI of marketing activities and communicates results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develops and oversees the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns for existing products and new product launches for manufacturer partners.
  • Creates effective, compelling positioning, messaging, and sales tools.
  • Collaborates with operations team on inventory and support needed for all marketing initiatives.
  • Manages partnerships with external agencies/consultants/businesses on development and launch of sales/marketing activities.
  • Owns management of vendor promotional funds ensuring they are used according to guidelines and in support of the overall marketing and sales objectives for the category.
  • Develops and manages in-market meeting and show strategies and execution.
  • Attends in-market meetings, shows and other company or manufacturer meetings as needed.
  • Responsible for all aspects of marketing plans, programs, projects, including: meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and tracking / monitoring procedures
  • Establishes and articulates project scope, strategy and objectives to internal clients, production team and key leadership
  • Manages creative production of online and offline marketing assets, graphic design, video production and web development, from the initial concept to finished product and execution
  • Gather and share information on market, competitive, customer and internal intelligence to manufacturer partners and other external and internal partners to help better results.
  • Conducts monthly and quarterly analysis and presentations of performance vs. sales goals as well as performance vs. program goals.
  • Ensures that all SOPs pertaining to marketing functions are developed and followed as they apply to data entry, free goods, specials, new products, etc..
  • Other special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience
  • 8+ years relevant marketing experience, including positioning and messaging, sales enablement, competitive analysis, and product launches preferably in Veterinary or Human Healthcare
  • 8+ years Category Management or Product Marketing experience preferably in Veterinary or Human Healthcare
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Category/Product Management/Sales/Marketing analyzing data such as assortment selections, sales trends and market trends
Technical Skills
  • A solid knowledge of Market Research and Strategy
  • Experience working with vendor partners, customers and sales teams
  • Strategic go-to market planning experience
  • Strong communication skills, writing ability, and project management experience required.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and working with all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Certification
Project Management a plus.
