Your Role:

Coordinate marketing projects at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Orchestrate project elements and serve as the hub of FMSC’s creative and marketing efforts. Coordinate timelines, deliverables, team member assignments and resources. Lead and maintain project management system, ongoing meetings, calendars and inboxes.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits:

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday during daytime business hours. Approximately 5% expenses-paid domestic travel is required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Organize all tactical elements of marketing projects from concept to completion.
    • Gather project objectives, scope, timeline and deliverables. Integrate details into project management software. Identify and mitigate potential scheduling, team capacity and process issues.
    • Manage project management system elements: assign tasks to team members, create new tasks, close tasks, assign deadlines, manage calendars and track details.
    • Set up project and campaign architecture in project management system.
    • Set timelines and deadlines. Monitor team member task completions and follow-up with team members on progress. In partnership with department leaders, hold team members accountable for deliverables and adjust scope and timelines as needed.
    • Finalize and archive project documentation. Reflect on project execution and revise future plans.
  • Orchestrate project-related communications: schedule and lead meetings, prepare agendas, monitor the Marketing inbox and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise between internal marketing team and external resources.
  • Provide administrative support for the Marketing Team, such as resizing photos, uploading digital resources, creating presentation slides, etc.
  • Procure and maintain marketing material inventory. Supervise inventory levels, submit orders, coordinate vendors, identify necessary material updates, and distribute materials to site. Process business card orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • Commitment to support, promote and authentically communicate FMSC’s Christian mission and goals.
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing, management or related field and 2 years of project-related work experience required. In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience considered.
  • Advanced competencies with Microsoft Office required. Experience working with data or database systems desired. Able to learn new systems and programs quickly.
  • Familiar and proficient with the use of project management software. Asana experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy and follow-through. Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and able to identify gaps and find solutions before problems arise.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to be assertive, influence and collaborate at all levels.

Your Team:

  • Work location: MN (Chanhassen, Coon Rapids, Eagan), IL (Aurora, Libertyville, Schaumburg), AZ (Mesa) or TX (Richardson). This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement that allows for a blend of onsite and remote work except for Richardson, Libertyville and Chanhassen which would be fully remote.
