Job Description

Marketing Specialist is responsible for promoting Tanera Transport freight transportation services includes FCL and LCL, drayage, Customs brokerage, warehousing, domestic trucking through the achievement of opportunity based marketing quotas. This associate will be required to have excellent communication skills to reach business targets through telephone sales and cold calling. The leads generated by this individual will help to grow the logistics sales for Tanera by following up on sales leads, dormant customers, prospect lists, and ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data
• Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and advertising copies
• Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers
• Investigate the performance of a company’s marketing campaigns and strategies by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Create innovative marketing campaigns relying on robust data and present the recommendations to management
• Create goals and objectives to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels
• Assist with outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization, and content development
• Evaluating key performance metrics
• Creating designs and layouts for media outlets
• Writing pitches, blog posts, and articles
• Building relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets
• Overseeing social media accounts and ensuring brand consistency
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly marketing goals
• Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and networking skills
• Associates degree or related work experience.
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software.
• Solid experience in lead qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
• Self -motivated and a strong work ethic. Experience in the transportation/logistics industry strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
