Artelye Marble and Granite is hiring a full-time Countertop Templator to join our team in Beltsville, MD. Templators are responsible for measuring, templating, and creating drawings in AutoCAD for installation of countertops. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to be proactive towards unseen situations. Background in countertop installation or templating is required.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to job sites to measure and create digital templates.
• Must be well versed in using Proliner , LT-55 , Phototop-5 or any other digital measuring technology.
• Create accurate digital drawings of countertops using AutoCAD.
• Completing work orders noting all required measurements and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job.
• Advising customers of any modifications required and providing critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation processes.
• Responding to general customer inquiries and concerns while on-site
• Communicate relevant information about jobs to the salesperson, operations staff, or office staff in a timely manner.
• Utilize time management and strategic thinking skills to prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
• Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Follow all company processes and protocols.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read tape measure accurately.
• Possess intermediate mathematical skills with the ability to add and subtract fractions, and decimals.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office, computer-based drawing programs, and CRM/Scheduling software is a plus.
• Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be highly motivated, hard-working, reliable, and possess an outgoing and friendly attitude while being willing to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be able to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect.
• Enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a clean driving record and current valid US Driver’s License.
• Background check will be required.
