Location: Seattle, WA

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $25+/hr DOE

Hours: 6am-2:30pm with overtime

We are seeking a Mechanic/Assembler Technician for a custom manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll be building custom equipment from the ground up including piping, small tanks, fasteners, pneumatics, gaskets, mechanical components, basic electrical wiring, and a variety of mechanical parts and pieces. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience seeking to utilize and expand their skillset and an exciting company to move their career forward.

Primary Responsibilities

· Read and follow assembly instructions, parts lists, and drawings to prepare work

· Verify specifications by measuring completed assemblies

· Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub assemblies

· Documents actions by completing production, training, and quality forms

Essential Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Computer literacy

· Experience with piping, mechanical, electrical, and wiring connections

· Experience with equipment operation, maintenance, controls, or instrumentation

· Ability to preform basic calculations

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Experience that makes you a strong candidate:

o Automobile/motorcycle repair

o Mechanics

o Maintenance Mechanics

o HVAC Installers

o Diesel Mechanics

o Instrumentation/Piping Installers

o Military background – hands on mechanical

Bonus Skills

· Associates degree from a vocational technical school

Learning Opportunities:

· The mechanical/assembler technician is the key craftsman who will build all standards products and custom equipment! You will be highly involved in producing vital products
