Mechanical Drafter
Job description
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support our Industrial Facilities and Rail Facilities engineering team. The person in this position will produce 2D and 3D drawings/models using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide preliminary design documents, such as conceptual designs, technical specifications and site plans for industrial projects.
- High degree of intrapersonal and communication skills is necessary.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
- Process piping design, equipment selection, material lists, contract documents, and drawing review for industrial projects.
- Modify 3D models and other drawings.
Required Skills
Required Experience
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Drafter/Design preferred.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to work on multiple assignments at the same time.
- Experience with Microstation and AutoCADD highly preferred but not required.

Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $90,000
