The purpose of this job description is to establish the job requirements, working conditions, basic functions, reporting relationships, authorities, essential functions, responsibilities, duties, and measures of performance for the Mechanical Engineer of Reliant Processing and Manufacturing, Ltd.

Oversee design of each project aligned with all carbon dioxide co2 liquefaction and dry ice operations.

Duties include:

• Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
• Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
• Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources

Division is currently composed of ten Liquid CO2 and Dry Ice production facilities. Territory includes east to west coast of domestic US.

What you’ll be working on:

• Provide Strategic Direction for Industrial Refrigeration System Design, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Efficiency
• Perform Engineering and Design Associated with Projects
• Size Refrigeration Equipment and Piping
• Estimate Projects and Submit Project Proposals
• Review and Approve Equipment Submittal Drawings and Data
• Interact with Vendors and Supported Design Reviews and Engineering Assessments
• Provide Technical Support to Project Managers, Refrigeration Technicians, Piping Designers, and Customers
• Industrial Ammonia refrigeration design, thermosyphon system design
• Monitor and analyze mechanical devices for problems
• Develop new devices or changes to improve current equipment
• Recommend design changes, cost reductions, warranty improvements, and manufacturing issues
• Oversee installation of new system or machinery

What is expected of a Manufacturing Process Engineer:

• Proven leadership skills and work ethic
• Proven work experience in mechanical engineering
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering software packages
• CAD or AutoCad skills
• Ability to create positive, long lasting working relationships with coworkers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of relevant education and work experience
• Proven ability to effectively work as a team and take direction from multiple heads
• Demonstrated success in change management, problem solving, and solution development
• Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Outstanding interpersonal with ability to build relationships with employees & customers
• Project and product line scheduling
• Travel will be required for this position to oversee each project until completion
• Reliant employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of Reliant Holdings
• Candidate will work for Reliant Manufacturing division and report to the general manager

Pay, Benefits, Insurance:

• Starting pay is on a per individual basis paid biweekly.
• Full time employees will accrue 1.85 hours of sick leave per 2 week period.
• Pay increases will be based on a yearly evaluation, merit, and performance.
• Insurance and benefits are based on 90-day probation period that include pre-employment screening.
• Benefits include 401k.

Pay: $58,596.76 - $133,671.75 per year
