Mechanical Supervisor

Experienced Mechanical Supervisor required one of Europe’s leading Engineering Contractors for a Data Centre project in Dublin. Our client is in a period of continued growth and have a large order book for the next 5 to 10 years. They offer both job security and also excellent progression opportunities during this period of their growth.

Duties:

• Coordinating and planning of resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.
• Manage and drive a team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Prepare relevant reports.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Reporting on progress.
• Ensure the quality of work is maintained throughout installation.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Manage 2 systems. For example; sprinklers and plumbing or cooling and ventilation etc.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance for direct staff and sub-contractors.
• Regular reviews of working practices to help improve site safety.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant Trade background required.
• A minimum of 5 Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
• Must have worked for an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Must be driven and be able to work off their own initiative.
• Must be proficient in MS Office.
