Position Objectives
Support the Command & Army’s People First Strategy by accomplishing a 10-day Onboarding Program for all new civilian and military personnel to MEDCoE.
Create and sustain a 30 day / 60 day / 90 day / 6 month / 1 Year milestones for accomplishing Command and Army Level directed training and certifications (i.e., Continuing Education System Foundation Course / Supervisory Development Course, DOD Performance Management and Appraisal Program targets, etc.)
Support the Army Civilian Acculturation Program to integrate Army civilian employees into not only the Army but the unique culture of the Medical Center of Excellence.

Job Description
- Facilitate the monthly MEDCoE civilian and military Onboarding Program.
- Maintain the onboarding program with accurate, up-to-date, and relevant guidance.
- Facilitate onboarding tasks with responsible parties to ensure all new civilian employees have a successful onboarding with the MEDCoE.
- Develop and maintain a 30 day / 60 day / 90 day / 6 month / 1 Year milestones for accomplishing Command and Army Level directed training and certifications (i.e., Foundation Course / Supervisory Development Course, etc.).
- Develop and maintain milestone plan for training and certifications aligned with MEDCoE mandatory training requirements (30 day / 60 day / 90 day / 6 month / 1 Year).
- Assist in the continued development of the MEDCoE civilian and military Onboarding Program.
- Facilitate the coordination and execution of Onboarding engagement initiatives.
- Conduct onboarding related analysis, studies, and surveys and maintains historical data.
- Coordinate onboarding and training services
- Assist in program development.
- Submit accurate and timely deliverables and reports.
Qualifications
- BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
- 4 to 10 years’ experience and knowledge of the onboarding program.
- Extensive skill level in written and oral communications and presentation skills.
- Former military or civilian G1 related experience preferred.
- Be capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology.
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and incorporated programs to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access and be able to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software required for services being provided under each individual task order.
The work is sedentary. Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings away from the worksite within the Joint Base San Antonio. Some employees may carry light items. The work does not require any special physical effort.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
