East Bay Retina Consultants, Inc. is a friendly, caring Retina only Ophthalmology practice. We provide medical care to patients with problems dealing with the back of their eyes. You may be familiar with some of these diseases as they are the leading cause of vision loss: Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachments and Macular Edema. The physicians of East Bay Retina Consultants, Inc. have six offices; Oakland, Concord, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Fremont and Hayward. There are six physicians at EBRC; Daniel A. Brinton, MD; Scott Soon T. Lee, MD; Eugene S. Lit, MD; Soraya Rofagha, MD; Jesse J. Jung, MD; and Alexander B. Dillon, MD.

Medical experience in physician's office desirable. Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess, or be willing to learn Ophthalmology/Retina specifics. An ability to relate to patients and a true desire to help them is required. Duties will include: working up patients, charting, performing visual acuity testing, OCT, Humphrey Visual Fields, Fluorescein Angiography, assisting with intravitreal injections, lasers and other office procedures. Some front office clerical work, including assisting with phones or filing may be part of the position. This person may also transcribe some dictation from the doctor so excellent keyboarding skills are necessary.

Applicant must be able to type at least 30wpm and should have a good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, grammar, and word-processing software. Experience with IntelleChart Pro or similar EHR a plus!

The physicians of East Bay Retina Consultants, Inc. have six offices; Oakland, Concord, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Fremont and Hayward. This position will require travel between our offices. Please have availability between the hours of 7:00am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
