Job description
Pay: $20-$23 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8A-4:30P
Location: Hospital
Covid: Vaccination or Exemption Required
Job Duties:
- Evaluates the patients ability to pay for services.
- Creates payment arrangements via cash, check, credit card or payment plan as appropriate.
- Utilizes the Epic estimator tool to provide estimates and collect up front payments, deductible and copays.
- Interviews patients at bedside, on the phone or in the office to determine eligibility for financial assistance.
Job Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
- Experience with Medical Billing, Medical Insurance, Medicaid
- Preferred- Epic experience
