Overview:
Optage, a division of Presbyterian Homes, is seeking a medical administrative professional to join its Home Office team as the Optage Services Coordinator Float to support both Home Care and Hospice frontline workers with Coordination of care services, intake services, medical records and office support. This position also will work alongside our Provider Relations Represntative in key functions and initivatives.

Responsibilities:
The Optage Service Coordinator Float provides support to designated positions within the Optage Home Office. This position will assist in roles that include but not limited to Intake, Service Coordination, and Office Support. The Optage Service Coordinator Float provides support to the Optage Provider Relations Representative in the management of relationships with key facilities, health plans, medical groups, hospitals, and ancillary providers as assigned. The public relations aspect of this position reflects our commitment to a quality customer experience and meeting the needs of the providers.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a health care environment or related field such as customer service preferred; experience with the older adult or with engagement of multiple generations preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must understand the principles of administrative work and clerical functions.
  • Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and other common computer programs.
  • Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
