Job description
This position is currently 3 days/week in-office, 2 days/week remote. This is subject to change at any time by the employer.
Responsibilities:
- Call/mail letters to insureds quarterly to update contact and health information
- Request and follow-up on medical records from physicians and hospitals quarterly/semi-annually to keep up to date with insureds health changes
- Order RX and LabCorp reports quarterly/semi-annually
- Request and follow-up on documents requested from insureds or designated contacts
- Review, identify health status changes that warrant ordering life underwriting
- Review third party reports to monitor the health status of the insured
- Request and follow-up with third-parties on life underwriting
- Identify and process claims in a timely manner, coordinating with government vital record departments, families of insureds and insurance companies
- Review, identify and resolve action items from insurance companies and insureds and compare to past information to identify discrepancies
- Scan and file correspondence for all documents received
- Review insured tracking report on a weekly basis to ensure servicing time standards are being met
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in life insurance, health care system, structured settlements or mortgage brokerage/servicing
- Energetic phone presence
- Attention to detail, follow-up and organization
- Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe are required
- Ability to identify discrepancies and problem solve
- Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives at one time
- Ability to work independently and as a team player

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
