Job description

We are recruiting an Administrator to join a very well established company in the Construction sector.

This role will be based in Ballymount, Dublin 12 Monday-Friday, hours 9am-5pm.

Salary: €32-35k

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Manage general phone calls with team, correspondence (email, letters , customer enquiries..) and meet/greet clients
  • Maintain all filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support to the office team and foremen working on sites
  • Assist the Accountant with general day to day bookkeeping, such as Sales Invoicing, Creditor Reconciliations, Supplier payments and General ledger data entry
  • Support with weekly payroll and contractor records (admin)
  • Create and update personnel records and databases
  • Process and track purchase orders
  • Assisting the Team with regulatory documents for clients (training provided)
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills is essential – proficient in Microsoft office- especially word, excel and adobe acrobat
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent bookkeeping skills is required
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Ability to meet important deadlines in a fast paced office environment
  • Ability to multi task and work on own initiative is essential
  • Some knowledge of the construction sector would be useful
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 helpful, some previous accounts experience would be a benefit
  • Salary: €32-35k
