Start by spending 9-12 weeks at our Hive Training Center in Longview, WA, where you’ll learn about Medicare Advantage products and how to assist Medicare-eligible consumers. When you’re up and running, you’ll then transition to a hybrid experience, working some days at the Hive and others from the comfort of home.

Your job will be to answer incoming inquiries from prospective healthcare insurance members and provide them with the help they need to select the plan that’s best for them. Once you’re fully immersed in the role with lots of hands-on experience, you’ll then have the opportunity to leave the Hive to work directly for the Fortune 100 healthcare organization you’ve been supporting.

Responsibilities

As our ideal Hive candidate, you’re organized and driven to tackle the challenge of building and maintaining trusting relationships, at work and with your customers. Like us, you’re gritty, innovative, culture-focused and embrace coaching.

    • Answer inquiries from prospective members, learn about their healthcare needs and help them select the Medicare product best for them.
    • Follow up with existing members to answer questions and review current or new products and services.
    • Navigate multiple computer systems to document information while actively listening and engaging with members.
    • Help prospective members enroll in insurance plans over the phone while staying current on product requirements and enrollment guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed established performance goals in call quality, adherence, attendance, and customer experience.
    • Operating Hours: M– F, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. PST (shifts provided during training).

Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
    • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule and work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
    • Ability to work onsite 2x weekly after training and for company events.
    • Previous sales experience or customer service preferred.
    • Ability to operate Windows/PC and learn new and complex computer system applications.
    • Flexibility to customize approach to meet all types of caller communication styles and personalities.
