Membership & Marketing Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time
Wage: $37,000 – $45,000 with full benefits
Start Date: Immediate
The Role:
The Membership & Marketing Coordinator organizes all aspects of membership services, office operations and marketing/communication at the Association; Serves as first point of contact with members and the public. No real estate experience is required.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Committee, Task Force, Board Coordination: creates agendas, maintains all meeting records/minutes and serves as liaison to members.
2. Member Services:
a. Electronic Lock Box System: tracks inventory of all lock boxes, audits inventory, trains members and provides technical support.
b. Multiple Listing Service System: enters property listings as necessary, adds new members, ensures compliance of property listing data, provides technical support.
c. Professional Development: coordinates all continuing education seminars and workshops; maintains course attendance records; tracks license and membership requirements, coordinates new member orientation.
d. Event Management: organizes, promotes, coordinates membership events to promote the association.
3. Internal Office Operations: updates and maintains all governing and office documents, opens and distributes all mail/deliveries, maintains office supply inventories, assists in logging/recording all incoming cash/checks, maintains membership files and management system.
4. Customer Service: answers telephone calls, greets walk-in customers, responds to member requests.
5. Marketing and Communication: creates and executes digital marketing campaigns; updates/adds/modifies the organization’s website; creates social media content to generate traffic/interest, action, and response; develops and edits promotional brochures/flyers; creates videos to communicate BCAAR value internally and externally.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Expectations:
· Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Exceptional customer service and support skills; 1-2 years customer services experience required
· Highly effective at multi-tasking and managing several priorities and projects
· Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow-through on tasks assigned
· Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and on a team
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Real estate experience is helpful but not required
· Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is required
· Knowledge of WordPress, social media, Mailchimp (email marketing platform), graphics and video editing software preferred
