This position is responsible for analyzing, recommending and maintaining optimal store matrix for designated area. Responsible for merchandise distribution to stores. Serves as point person for designated store groups and is required to support the stores request and needs.

  • Analyze, recommend and maintain optimal store inventory levels for areas of responsibility. Coordinate and execute field input and requests.
  • Assist merchant team in managing assortments
  • Participate in assortment planning process and make recommendations to support allocation strategies. Provide analysis and research to support the creation of the assortment and buy plans.
  • Provide pertinent visibility / feedback / direction to Planning Manager and Buying teams on Top Selling items and Slow Selling items.
  • Provide pertinent feedback / direction to Planning Manager and Buying Team to support the development of store volume clusters and the implementation of new merchandise concepts.
  • Guide distribution strategies to optimally incorporate store demographics into the assortment and allocation processes.
  • Review case pack and order flow recommendations.
  • Reviews store feedback related to assortment. Participate in the Business review.
  • Analyses store-level inventory productivity and makes adjustment to business trends.
  • Provide information to aid the topside inventory productivity and merchandise profitability analysis.
  • Provide information to aid in the age of inventory /exit strategy.
  • Purchase order management responsibilities include the creation, communication and execution of purchase orders utilizing internal systems as well as vendor support.
  • Lead the tracking and coordination with the buying team and vendors.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Including Microsoft Office Programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
