Merchandiser / Delivery Driver Required.

Description

Bluestone Sales& Distribution are based in Trim, Co. Meath and supply market leading brands, Brita, Kitchen Devil, Fiskars, Severin, Décor, E-Cloth, Leifheit, Soehnle, Greener Cleaner and Strata products to all major retailers throughout Ireland.

We are looking for a Merchandiser/Delivery Driver to cover key trading accounts in the Leinster Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on planogram compliance and maximising promotional space.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate needs to be capable of working on their own initiative under the direction of the Sales Manager
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with customers and our existing sales team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Experience in merchandising is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Full Drivers Licence
• Familiar with technology - deliveries / merchandising calls will be reported via a mobile device
• Company Delivery Van Supplied, tablet & smart phone provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with store managers and back door staff
• Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
• Serve as a link of communication between customers and the sales team
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers in relation to stock levels
• Adhere to journey plans given by line manager
• Ensure that all merchandising guidelines are adhered to in line with planograms / line manager instruction, maximising promotional space
• Ensure all products have correct SELs in place where necessary
• Capture before and after photographs on a handheld device
• Liaise with store manager prior to leaving ensure they are happy with work completed
• Liaise with Sales Manager before and after each call
• Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team
• Support product launches and promotions across all serviced brands
• Ensure that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €25,000.00 per year
