We are currently seeking a MES Security Consulting Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).
NTT DATA Services is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Medicaid Security Consulting Group Manager to lead our team of security consultants specializing in the Medicaid sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare security, compliance, and risk management, with an emphasis on Medicaid and related state and federal regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the consulting group, business development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Support new client pursuits in the form of meetings, writing RFP's, curating and developing reusable content, collaborating with practice and sales leaders to generate appropriate solutions and approaches to meeting clients' stated needs.
Partner directly with our partner Project Executives to assure that we are meeting our clients' needs from all perspectives.
Lead and manage a team of Medicaid security consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to achieve the group's objectives and supporting the organization's culture.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners, understanding their security needs and requirements, and ensuring the delivery of effective consulting services.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and solutions tailored to the Medicaid sector.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in government healthcare security, Medicaid regulations, and related compliance standards, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the group's effectiveness, including team performance and satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement in people management.
Create and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports, related to the Medicaid security consulting services.
Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or any other related field.
Minimum of 10 Years of experience in the IT arena including:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare security or a related field,
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role and specific expertise in the Medicaid sector.
A minimum of five years working directly in a managed services role or client services role.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in people management, with a strong commitment to fostering team development, collaboration, and engagement.
Minimum 5 years of experience in MMIS security
In-depth knowledge of MMIS security and privacy considerations
Hands-on experience with cloud security technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP a plus.
Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines and MARS-E.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $128,000 - 160,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefitsn, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
