Key responsibilities include:
- Providing supporting knowledge to client queries related to MIFID II, AIFMD, IFR/D etc;
- Developing solutions to clients to ensure consistent and valued interpretation of the key legislation;
- Growing your knowledge as changes in legislation and guidance are drafted and published;
- Participating in face to face meetings with clients and regulators;
- Ensuring quality and timely service is delivered to clients; and
- Assisting in preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives.
The following experience is highly desired:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an investment firm or professional service or law firm supporting the investment management industry;
- Detailed knowledge investment firm’s legislation (e.g. MIFID II, AIFMD, UCITS etc);
- Understanding of investment firm governance, processes and organisations;
- Good awareness of IFR/D;
- Knowledge of financial or regulatory reporting;
- A work ethic which provides a ‘can do’ attitude;
- An ability to foster trusted relationships;
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail;
- An ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job; and
- Strong organisational, verbal communication and time management skills.
