Millworker-Assembler
Hardie Boys, Inc. has established itself as the leader in exterior architectural PVC millwork.
We are currently hiring experienced, skilled millworkers/assemblers to mill, cut and assemble exterior millwork components at our manufacturing facility in Pompano Beach, FL.
JOB DUTIES
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders to insure accuracy of assembly.
- Operate woodworking equipment to fabricate components .
- Assemble components using adhesives and mechanical fasteners.
- Paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related production goals. This position is a fast paced assembly environment.
- Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company.
- Abide by proper standard of work procedures and safety standards when operating hand tools and other machines or tools.
- Assure proper organization and maintenance of work station.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Minimum education - High school diploma or GED.
- Manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate mitre saws, moulders, shapers, routers and other standard woodworking equipment.
- Ability to read tape measure and other measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and work orders.
- Ability to operate hand tools and and woodworking equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 100 pounds.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background check.
Work hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
