POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer to support our production team by efficiently breaking out construction drawings and streamlining the pre-construction process to ensure project build efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews blueprints and breakout part piece by piece to ensure correct construction specifications
• Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency
• Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut
• Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program
• Checks completed programs by running simulations
• Determines sequence of operations in a program
• Chooses cutting tools that will be needed
• Analyzes job and performs necessary calculations
• Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs
• Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes
• Complies with all safety rules and regulations
• The CNC Programmer should have a willingness to participate and drive change in coordination with others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in CNC Machine operations
• AutoCAD experience.
• Millwork experience and joinery knowledge a plus. Understanding of woodworking, metalworking, and general manufacturing principals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
