The Group:
The Industrial & Broad Market Group at ADI is exponentially expanding its activities and engagements, growing its power solutions to further complement its existing mixed-signal products, using lower geometry, CMOS Analog Power Process technologies.

The Team:
The Industrial Power Systems Design team has the mission to expand the current ADI products portfolio for power devices, adding new smart control features and integrated digital configurability on current outstanding analog solutions.
Follows the requirements for the position:
- Design of analog block according to the specifications and with consideration of production yield and testability
- Manage block integration at chip level according to the guidelines provided by project leader
- Create models for analog blocks for verification requirements, trading accuracy, features and simulation speed and setup self-checking model validation.
- Actively participate in the feasibility study by taking responsibility for an assigned task
- Create test plans by developing a thorough understanding of the project under test and create self-checking test cases
- Be the point of contact for the analog and digital design teams, ensure that the analog-digital boundary scenarios are adequately covered.
- Interact with team members from various disciplines (digital design, analog design, digital DV) to bring up Full chip level Mixed-signal environments..
- Supervise layout and agree requirements to prevent ESD/latch up issues, minimize voltage drop of supply routing, minimize noise coupling, electromigration, in order to ensure quality of physical implementation
- Perform verification of circuits and ICs, using advance mixed signal techniques to ensure function and performance
- Document the design work and its performance in detail and present it to the design team during design reviews
- Perform evaluation of ICs in the lab when they return from fabrication.
- Collaborate with production test engineering to support and debug production test problems
- Clearly communicate project status to senior management
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSEE + 3 years of relevant work experience (or MSEE).
- Knowledge of microelectronics design techniques and the basics of the devices production process
- Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE.
- Ability to travel globally to collaborate with other Analog Devices sites (up to 10% of the time).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attitude to collaborate in team
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficiency with Cadence analog design environment, including schematic entry, analog and mixed-signal simulation
- Proficiency with other tools targeted to mixed signal or digital design flows
- Experience with developing models in Verilog AMS, wreal or SV real
- Demonstrated understanding of analog design concepts either via course work or via design experience.
- Automotive-Specific Design Experience with a focus on Quality, Reliability, and Safety (ASIL-D)
- Behavioural modelling of analog circuits and analog mixed signal (AMS) verification techniques
- Knowledge of software tools useful for top-down design approach like Simplis, Simulink, Mathcad, Matlab
