Responsibilities
The MVL Department Coordinator will lead the design, planning and implementation of
organizational-wide strategic talent management programs including on the job training, leadership
development training, Apprenticeship, CAFM, HPTS, New Hire and new employee (B&T level) on-
boarding. A significant component of this role will be to support changes to all MVL Training
initiatives (HPTS, MLE, Apprenticeship, CAFM, Safety) that can be effectively and repeatably
deployed to departmental leaders and trainers. Additionally, the role will focus on designing,
developing, and executing impactful learning and development solutions that identify and grow
individual capabilities and build organizational talent.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate, conduct and design training programs, including blended learning such as pre-
learning, digital learning, experiential, peer-to-peer and workshops
- Develop training curriculum and certification criteria for the Apprenticeship & CAFM Programs
- Set-up the platform for cross functional training using a virtual and in-person mode of trainings in
various locations of MVL facilities
- Collaborate with the MVL Training Coordinator and Training Team
- Evaluate lessons learned from Safety & Quality incidents, and incorporate into training for all
impacted MVL functional groups
- Support and participate in university recruitment. Develop and oversee training initiatives for
internship program
- Support new hire onboarding (B&T level) and work with Managers to determine effectiveness
Qualifications
- 5 years of Eastman equivalent experience or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of HPTS a plus
- Professional training and development certification is a plus (e.g., Training, Six Sigma, SCRUM )
- Hands-on experience creating digital content in a variety of formats, ability to leverage digital tools to create a dynamic learning experience.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation Skills and engagement skills in-person and virtual
- Knowledge and experience with SharePoint
- Ability to travel 10-25%
