This position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of Greenlee-and RIDGID-branded programs within several managed accounts including Ace, Orgill, Menard’s, Rona (Canada) and Do it Best. This role will also support HD Supply.

In this role, you will partner with internal stakeholders across multiple functions to develop and deploy business plans with your accounts. You will join a collaborative team to help set the pace for growth and service for your assigned categories. AS A NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Expand sales nationally (via promotional activity, merchandising initiatives, etc.) and to meet the stated goals for Professional Tools.
  • Cultivate strong functional relationships with all levels of customer management and internal departments to ensure that national programs, policies, and store plans are implemented effectively.
  • Consistently meet with Department Merchant and Field Support Teams to facilitate growth and seek opportunities.
  • Develop and communicate strategic and tactical plans to ensure flawless execution of programs.
  • Extensively utilize Professional Tools & customer reporting systems to discover and document performance. Analyze and monitor overall business. Use data to understand reasons for trend changes in sales/shipments.

  • Interact with all levels of In Store Service division management teams to supply information, document and resolve merchandising/set issues.
  • Forecast product need to meet POS demand. Partnering with internal departments and customer inventory departments to support customer needs.
  • Analyze and monitor overall business.
  • Participate in any requested regional trainings/contractor events/trade shows as required to maximize Emerson brands exposure. May include a few weekend shows.
  • Provide market intelligence for internal departments and customers. This includes price shops, promotional space, cross-merchandising opportunities, and competitive activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required field
  • Seven (7) years of related work experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Availability for limited occasional weekend work provided sufficient advance notice

  • A valid US passport or the ability to acquire a passport
