The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 1st shift Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) FPI Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. This position is responsible for processing /inspecting a large variety of engine cases/components to determine and verify conformance by means of Non-Destructive Testing specifically FPI Inspection, to ensure conformance with acceptance criteria.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts
• 1+ years of experience using NDT inspection methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of related experience and/or education in NDT methods – Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)
• 1+ years of related experience and/or education reading and interpreting Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and guidance material
• Prior work experience in aviation component repair preferred
• SAP experience

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
