About the Role
Smyths Toys are looking to recruit a Network & IT Administrator to join our IT team in Galway. The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role. We especially wish to hear from applicants who can hit the ground running, are not phased by managing and supporting 300 remote locations/sites and can work on their own initiative on current & future projects.
Initially you will be based at our head office in Galway until you are comfortable & confident with our IT systems.
Your key areas of experience/expertise:
- Cisco Local Area Networking
- MPLS WAN and/or SD-WAN
- Windows Server Administration - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File, Print, Windows Deployment Services, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Distributed File System, Group Policy
- Windows Imaging Technologies
- Linux (CentoOS, Ubuntu, RHL) Server Administration
- WiFi configuration & Administration (Cisco Meraki)
- Google Cloud Platform Administration
- Google Workspace Configuration & Administration
- Automation via Powershell, Batch, Bash, Python
- Firewall Management (FortiGate)
- Cyber Security would be an advantage

- From time to time you will be expected to travel abroad when required
