Job Title: Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $70/hr. on W2 No Benefits

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Private and Public cloud networking protocols and technologies
• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VxRail, NSX, and Palo Alto NGFW
• Proficiency with network hardware and technologies, shared storage, Microsoft and Linux OS
• Experience in cloud infrastructure environments
• Experience in SAN/NAS designs and implementation
• Experience in security and security patching
• Technical consulting experience
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and network troubleshooting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a collaborative manner.
• Ability to identify and manage technical risk.
• Advanced organizational and analytical skills, problem-solving ability
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
• 7-10+ years of experience in network design and administration

Recommended Certifications:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) in Network Virtualization
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)

Note:

• The Private Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure of a private cloud computing environment. This includes physical and virtual components of the network, such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and more. They collaborate with IT teams to ensure the network is scalable, secure, and highly available, and participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.

Salary: $65.00 per hour
