Job description

The position of Network Engineer is to ensure the stability and integrity of network services. The Network Engineer will oversee and take part with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, optimisation and documentation of all network hardware and software. This includes managing multiple projects, planning and configuring / perfecting network services. This individual will also analyse and resolve network / server service problems in a prompt and exact fashion and supply reports and documentation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Administer systems and servers related to the network for the purpose of ensuring availability of services to authorized users.

• Align network services for the purpose of following the mission, vision, and values. Conduct research on network / server products, services, standards, and best practices for the purpose of remaining current.

• Coordinate existing facilities network / server (e.g., servers, switches,) for the purpose of completing designs, planning, configuration, maintenance, and testing.

• Develop, implement, and support the processes and documentation for network / server managements.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field and 5+ years’ experience in personal computers and local and wide area network systems analysis; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability needed to perform the job.

· Ideally 5+ years Cisco networking products (VPN Configuration, VLAN’s), CCNA needed, CCNP preferred

· Ideally 5+ years Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration, MCSE preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Temporary
Contract length: 9 months

Salary: €40.00-€60.00 per hour
