Location: Eastern Iowa and surrounding areas; shop location located in Solon, Iowa

Shift: 8–10-hour days between 7am-6pm; varied depending on current jobs

Pay: $15-$35+/hr. depending on experience

Advance Services is looking for detail-oriented Network Technicians to join a local, award-winning fiber optic and structured cable company! Qualified candidates must have a good attitude, a desire to learn, and be ready to hit the ground running.

Job Duties:

Fiber optic splicing

*
Performing inspections and measuring signal strength of connections to ensure adequate performance

*
Resolve, repair, and install fiber optics systems to ensure proper working order

*
Residential and commercial service installation

*
Most of the work is performed in the Eastern Iowa area; however, some jobs may require travel in which meals and accommodations will be covered by the employer

Requirements:
*
High School Diploma/GED

*
Must have vehicle in good working condition with the ability to carry tools/ladders

*
Active Driver’s License and proof of insurance

*
Experience in Fiber Optics, Cable, Construction, or Wiring is highly preferred
