The NeuroAnalyst and Education Specialist is an advanced technologist role that is primarily responsible for preliminary review and reporting of EEG recordings. The technologist will work closely with the attending EEG reading physician to provide timely reporting and documentation of clinically significant events. The NeuroAnalyst also serves as an educational resource for technologists, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.

In their role as a physician-extender, they may assist in other functions related to the EEG reading workflow such as coordinating, troubleshooting, or clarifying details of patient history documentation. They may filter pages and respond in place of the physician when new diagnostic interpretation or clinical expertise is not required. They will also be involved in the preparation and evaluation of surgical cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $38.41 to $57.58, with a median wage of $47.99/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience working in LTM (Long Term Monitoring), and at least two (2) years spent monitoring at the CLTM (Certified in Long Term Monitoring) level, or above.
  • Hold credentials in EEG (R.EEG T.), and LTM (CLTM).

Preferred

  • Hold credential of NeuroAnalyst (NA-CLTM).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare discipline or associate degree or graduate of CAAHEP-accredited ND program.
