NOC Engineer

Location - San Diego CA (Onsite)

Job Description

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of related experience required.
• Experience with O365 and Azure AD required.
• Experience using Solar Winds Network Performance Monitor or other SNMP-based monitoring system required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of key protocols such as TCP, IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP.
• Experience operating in a NOC/SOC environment that respond to network security alerts required.
• Experience with Azure Cloud administration required.
• Experience and knowledge of SD-WAN networking technologies highly preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of ITIL-based processes.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and troubleshoot difficult network problems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to articulate solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working in a close team environment in solving problems.
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to be successful with minimal guidance, be proactive, and be comfortable in handling uncertainty.
• Strong knowledge of managing and interpreting statistics and data for reporting purposes.
