Job Summary:

• Position is full-time (4x10s, rotating Monday-Friday) + rotating call schedule
• Team of five surgeons and five advanced practitioners looking to expand.
• Our vascular surgery team serves patients at the MultiCare campuses in Tacoma, Puyallup and Auburn. This position will be primarily based out of Tacoma but will require some travel between facilities during the week and while on call.
• Job duties include inpatient management (daily rounds and consults) and as an OR first assistant.
• The PA/NP who joins our team will gain experience in management of aneurysmal disease, peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, varicose veins, and dialysis access.

Requirements:

• 2+ year of clinical practice as an NP/PA preferred, will consider new graduate depending on experience
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred
• Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed in the state of WA as a PA/ARNP by the time of employment
• Board certified by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Based in Tacoma, WA Pulse Heart is a physician led cardiovascular institute formed through a strategic partnership with MultiCare Health System, a leading-edge, integrated not-for-profit healthcare organization made up of eleven hospitals. The institute is made up of Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Cardiology. At our tertiary care center, we perform advanced therapies including Endovascular Aneurysm and Dissection management, TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR), TAVR, VAD, and ECMO, with an active interventional and surgical program.
