NPI - Project Manager
IN MUSKEGON, MI

We are currently managed by the fourth generation of the founding family with sales and manufacturing activities at 42 sites in various European countries, North and South America and in Asia. Job Function:
Project Manager is responsible for product launch once the Key Account Manager has released the program due to award. Project Manager will oversee all activities from the time the award letter is received through PPAP approval.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare and execute full scale project timelines
• Interaction with customer during phone calls, Teams/Zoom meeting, and site visits
• Organize, define, and coordinate activities with department leaders, managers and staff as well as define resource requirements
• Track project activities using appropriate tools and report timing, progress, problems and solutions to management and team
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Provide evaluations and assessments of project results
• Track and record project related costs and report issues and final results to management
• Host close out meetings including lessons learned to be implemented into processes and procedures if applicable
• Works according to Scherdel’s quality and environmental system requirements, and customer quality requirements

Position Requirements:

• Automotive manufacturing experience (3-10 years), required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, preferred
• Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management, required
