Role:Staff Nurse (Person Centered)

Reports to:Director of Care /The Person in Charge / Registered Provider

My Life specialises in providing residential and respite care to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. As a family owned and run provider, we have developed a culture based on the principles of home, family and individuality. Our service is provided in homely modern and comfortable houses in Ardee and Dundalk in Co. Louth. We pride ourselves in providing high quality HIQA registered community-based services

We are seeking new applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. The successful candidate will be provided with support and training in line with the role. You must be empathic, motivated and creative with a passion to engage with people.

Job Summary

The role of the nurse is to encourage positive social interactions between staff and residents at all times. Demonstrate a ‘feelings matter most’ approach to people adapting to changes in their lives is critical. We endeavour to see that all behavior and communication by residents as meaningful.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Nursing Qualification (Essential)
• Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Essential)
