We are looking for a Nurse Assistant (MA, LPN, or RN) to our main Dermatologist, Dr. Kim Nichols! You would be the sole assistant to the dermatologist and help maintain and grow her business. The ideal candidate would value customer service and concierge care, have excellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and looking for a long-term role. This position is full-time, Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-5pm.

Dr. Nichols’ is looking for a long-term First Assistant. This role is to be the right-hand to Dr. Nichols for all patient appointments. It does not require any aesthetic practitioner training. This person must be committed to being a long-term first assistant to Dr. Nichols.

Clinical Duties:(may include, but not limited to):

Working closely with Dermatologist on professional and personal tasks

Assisting the Dermatologist on cosmetic and medical procedures

Preparing and administering medications as directed by Dermatologist.

Taking medical histories

Explaining treatments and procedures to patients

Preparing patients for examination

Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens

Performing basic laboratory tests

Instructing patients about medication and special diets

Authorizing prescription refills as directed

Drawing blood

Administrative Duties: (may include, but not limited to):

Using computer applications

Answering telephones

Greeting patients

Updating and filing patient medical records

Coding and filling out insurance forms.

Scheduling appointments

Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services

Handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping

Requirements:

Preferred:

Medical Assistant (MA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN)

Bilingual

Required:

2+ year of any medical professional experience

Fully COVID Vaccinated and Boosted

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30AM to 5PM in Greenwich, CT

Pay includes hourly, overtime, commission, and bonus.

Kim Nichols, MD, FAAD is a Harvard-trained, board-certified, celebrity dermatologist that treats both cosmetic and medical skincare concerns. She has been recognized world-wide for her artistic expertise in administering injectables that yield natural-looking results for clients to look and feel their best.

Dr. Nichols, a National Physician Trainer and Speaker for Allergan, Galderma, and Merz trains other dermatologists and plastic surgeons from across the country in the highest standards or art and ethics on how to administer injectables.

Dr. Nichols graduated cum laude from Harvard University, attended NYU School of Medicine, and completed her dermatology residency at King-Drew/Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. In 2013, Dr. Nichols opened her own practice, NicholsMD of Greenwich, and has since opened SkinLab by NicholsMD and NicholsMD of Fairfield.
