Summary: Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients (ages 2 and up)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains complete medical history and physical date on patients
• Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan, utilizing principles of prevention
• Performs a complete physical exam and records findings
• Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures
• Sutures minor lacerations
• Recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs
• Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment
• Maintains and reviews patient records and other pertinent information
• Participates in activities/meetings as required to support operations of the urgent care center
• Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
• Maintains patient confidentiality

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• 2 years of related experience; or the ability to practice independently without onsite supervision
• DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• RN

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
