Lisa Knight Flarey, D.O. Inc. is a small medical office in Zanesville, Ohio consisting of one solo physician, one part-time nurse practitioner, and four long-term dedicated staff members. Our facility is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with outstanding clinical skills, who can perform primary care, psychological screening, and general medical workups. The Nurse Practitioner should have strong family practice experience and a background in psychiatry and internal medicine, in addition to some geriatrics knowledge. Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the outpatient, office setting.
• Perform physical exams and provide diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of common health problems.
• Advise patients on lifestyle choices, such as healthy diet, avoiding tobacco and alcohol, and maintaining proper weight.
• Advise patients on which medications are best suited to treat their conditions.
• Prescribe drugs while considering possible side effects.
• Assess psychological problems and treat with medication or therapy.
• Perform pap smears and other basic gynecological procedures.
• Perform basic skin procedures like lesion removals and cryotherapy to warts.
• Administrative duties like working with other healthcare teams and keeping up to date with continuing education.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $56.00 - $61.00 per hour
