Assists nurses in providing safe and effective patient care, which encompasses age groups ranging from adults to a predominant population of geriatrics. Accountabilities include assisting patients in moving as rapidly, uneventfully, safely and effectively as possible through the period of hospitalizationHigh School Graduate or equivalent; must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; Current certification as Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred; current certification in CPR; six months experience in a patient care environment or successful completion of a nurses aide training program
