Job Description:
Provides consultation, evaluation, and occupational therapy services to patients. Establishes a rehabilitative plan of care with realistic goals following a functional evaluation for all patients. Provides education to patients, family members, students, staff, and to the community at large. Coordinates services with other medical disciplines, making recommendations as appropriate to facilitate a complete rehabilitative process.
Graduate of occupational therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Certified as an Occupational Therapist by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board. Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New York. Heavy work: continual and repetitive motions, including but not limited to, heavy lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, pushing, and prolonged walking and standing.
