We are currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide Occupational Therapy and Feeding Therapy services to children enrolled in our autism program as well as children of varying diagnoses enrolled in our growing outpatient program. We are looking for an independent, energetic, and reliable individual for our Mendota Heights location.

Position Details:

Potential candidates will be responsible for evaluation, intervention planning and treatment for children with various diagnoses. Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations as necessary
• Make appropriate recommendations for therapy frequency and intensity
• Complete all documentation, including initial evaluation reports, treatment plans, daily treatment notes, and discharge reports
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Conduct training with caregivers to ensure generalization of skills across environments
• Maintain MN Department of Health Licensure and NBCOT Certification

Education and Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed by the MN Department of Health
• NBCOT Certification

Experience:

• Prior experience preferred

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team of professionals
• Ability to empathize with parental concerns and provide suggestions for carryover at home
• Ability to plan, organize and manage time efficiently

· Schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends, flexible schedules available)
