Job description

We are looking to hire an Office Assistant to fill a part time position that could lead into a full time, permanent position with benefits. Responsibilities include: answering phones and taking accurate messages, assisting customers on the phone using professional customer service skills, filing, photocopying, word processing and other office duties as assigned.

We are a small company (celebrating 40+ years). Each of our employees is a key employee. If you are comfortable in a small, low-key, low-pressure, friendly company environment, and have the skills required, we would welcome the opportunity to consider you for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • District Heights, MD 20747: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
