Skagit Soils Inc. has been recycling green and organic waste for over 30 years. Serving Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish, Island and San Juan counties, our state-of-the-art facility diverts organics away from our landfills and produces high quality compost mulch, general soil mix, beauty bark, and gravel. In February of 2020, Lautenbach Recycling and Skagit Soils began a partnership that has expanded the services and capabilities of both companies. The Position:

We are looking for an Office Manager and Customer Service star to join our team. This position would be working in the scale house as Office Manager and Scale Attendant, weighing vehicles as they visit our facility, answering the phone and providing customer service/sales, setting up deliveries and dispatching trucks as well as other administrative duties. QuickBooks experience is a must along with previous work experience handling AP/AR and payroll. Work experience with a landscaping company is a plus. This is your chance to run the whole show in this small office setting at our Composting Facility.

This is a full time position that will be working Monday - Friday. Regular Hours - 7:30 am - 5 pm; Winter Hours - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm . Pay rate is $23 - $25 per hour, DOE. Overtime is paid for all hours over 40 hours in a work week.

The Location:

We are located in Mount Vernon just north of Highway 20 in the beautiful Skagit Valley. The site is a fully operational composting center which has frequent traffic, dust and noise.
