K-9 Kountry in Las Vegas at Windmill & the Strip is Vegas' only country club for dogs, providing doggie daycare, boarding, training and we want you to join our pack!

We are looking to add a front office receptionist and dog nanny to our team of fun, dog loving nannies!

You can expect the position to be 20% receptionist/office work and 80% working with the dogs.

The position requires someone who is self-motivated, has great communication skills, a love for people and dogs, is organized, has an eye for detail, is ready to work everyday, with a desire to learn and grow with our company.

Responsibilities and qualifications are as follows but not limited to;

Responsibilities

*Customer Service - in person, online & over the phone *Scheduling and managing reservations *Managing all incoming and outgoing calls *Clerical duties *Keeping customer and pet information accurate and up-to-date in our system *Be able to provide accurate information about our facility to new and current guests *Checking in and out guests for daycare and boarding *Organize details for each dog staying with us *Effectively represent our business, brand & culture *Ensure that lobby is clean, stocked & organized *Constant communication with daycare/boarding manager & nannies to ensure smooth and successful days *Socializing & exercising the dogs outside *Outdoor cleaning and maintenance of a safe environment *Proper handling of all dogs at the facility and in your pack *Feeding *Bathing *Medication administration

Qualifications

*MUST LOVE ALL DOGS!!! *Minimum age requirement is 18 years old *MUST have a minimum of 1 year recent experience as a dog nanny/handler within a daycare/boarding facility *MUST have a minimum of 1 year background experience in office, receptionist and customer service *MUST be ok and willing to work outside in all season and types of weather *Reliable transportation *Open availability to cover shifts needed *GREAT communication *Teamwork - you must be able to effectively and successfully work with your team on a daily basis *Self-motivated, the ability to think outside the box, problem solve, troubleshoot, stay organized, and have an eye for detail

Compensation

*Hourly pay $12-$14/hour plus tips that average $2-$3 more per hour *401K matched *Up to 2 weeks PTO (after 2 years continuous employment), 1 week for the first year *Costco and Amazon Prime memberships *Free Doggie Services for your personal dogs after probation period *Discounts on products *Flexible schedule with maximum 6.5 hrs per shift. This is a part time position with opportunity for full time *CPR Certification, Bather Certification, Body Language and Behavior Course provided

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00 - $16.00/hour.

About K9 KOUNTRY: We started K-9 Kountry in October 2012, and our mission has always been to take care of our customer’s furry kids like they’re our own family. As a social club for dogs, ALL dogs are welcome regardless of age and breed, as long as they pass a strict temperament test and can exist as a pack. We are American Red Cross Dog First Aid Certified, Licensed and Insured and have over 15 years experience in dog training and behavior.
