Office Support Staff (Pine Bluff)

The organization seeks to hire an Office Support Staff in the Pine Bluff location.
The Office Support Staff (OSS) is under the supervision of Leadership and is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the agency. The OSS will comply with the policies and procedures of the accrediting body, state and federal laws, and the agency policy govern this position.
Job Duties for OSS will include but are not limited to full compliance with the policies and procedures of the agency, the agency’s accrediting body standards, and state and federal laws that govern this position. The duties include but are not limited to:
*Billing Medicaid/Medicare, Private Insurance* Note Review *Maintaining Medical Records including entering information, running reports, providing technical assistance*Assistance with Human Resource Tasks including orientation and onboarding activities with new staff*Chart Auditing *Assistance to Clinical Staff and Leadership as requested/assigned * Assistance with policy development/review including compiling, updating, editing*Transportation of clients as vetted *Participation on committees *Mentoring new office support staff *Shadowing for new office support staff or to learn new tasks *Completing Referrals *Interfacing with outside agencies including phone calls, dropping off information*Assistance w/Psychiatric Clinic including scheduling, calling, reminders* Agency reports (example: Time, HR, billable units) *Assistance with time/leave/billable hours including entering requests in the EMR, tallying billable hours*All other duties as assigned to maintain accreditation and meet licensure requirements
Qualifications: College degree required; 1 year of office experience required; and must be able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
