Job description
As we continue to expand and grow our business in the Business Insights and Analytics space, an opportunity exists for an experienced and ambitious person who wants a hands-on role in running this key part of our business. As Operational Lead for the Business Insights and Analytics portfolio, you will be responsible for ensuring that we have local consultants in place with the right capability to match the growth objectives of the portfolio, that they have the right training and career plans to help them grow and that they are doing meaningful work which contributes both to client success and profitable business growth. You will also ensure that offshore capability from the wider group is being used appropriately to add value and improve profitability. You will be strong on organisation and following through on initiatives, have a keen interest in developing people and have a clear understanding of business financial indicators and how to influence them.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Working with the delivery managers within the portfolio to ensure that each individual and team within the portfolio is delivering to expectations on their specific engagements

Working with the offering managers within the portfolio to ensure we have a clear strategy for the capability needed to support those offerings

Working with those offering managers to develop the content of specific career and training plans for each individual within the portfolio and ensuring those plans are implemented successfully

Coordinating and prioritizing recruitment plans for the practice in order to meet the yearly growth objectives

Implementing initiatives to continually improve the health of the practice in cooperation with the Portfolio Lead and HR Partner, ensuring high engagement and morale

Ensuring the right processes and practices are in place to manage the portfolio’s bench and implement plans for each of them to get billable again

Supporting the Portfolio Lead in ensuring the portfolio is self-sustaining from a business perspective by meeting and exceeding targets for:

Headcount

Revenue

Utilization

CM

Skills & Requirements:
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and plans simultaneously

Strong oral and written communication skills

Extensive experience of hiring and growing teams of technical talent

Experience managing either a business unit or the delivery of large-scale customer project/service against multi-faceted financial targets
