Purpose of the job: The Operations Analyst, is responsible for maintaining consistent data quality and is a key contributor to both the maintenance and utility of Operations data and reporting. Works with stakeholders on data requirements, data analytics, and actions that transform data into desired business outcomes. This person is also a Power BI subject matter expert for Pharma, Heath and Durables Operations that will assist with automating reporting activities as well as assist with visualization projects for the division.
This role is flexible to one of kp US/European based sites preferably or home office based and will report to the Business Transformation Manager
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Use statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and propose and/or develop solutions to business problems.
Conduct complex analysis of operational performance, interpret results, and summarize opportunities for improvement.
Creates, adheres to, and enforces processes and procedures for controlling data accuracy, changes to data models/flows, ultimately ensuring the quality and accuracy of data.
Contribute to implement robust KPI metrics to ensure continuous data quality improvement.
Lead as Power BI subject matter expert.
Support Operations team in requirements gathering.
Act as the primary liaison between Operations and IT to ensure alignment with Group Power BI strategy.
Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
Lead training sessions and share learnings among Operations team.
Our requirements:
Bachelor’s technical degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of work experience as Business, Operations or Data Analyst.
Experience with creation of reports and dashboards and implementation of key metrics.
Project management experience and lean methodology knowledge is a plus.
Strong reporting and data analytics background, including data visualization.
Experience with Power BI & architecture.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications, with advance Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). Spanish and/or German desirable.
Expert in manipulating data from SAP and other IT systems.
Ability to distill data to extract information and present in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
Can organize, interpret, and summarize large data sets.
