Working with the Office of Admissions to provide support to the Systems and Recruitment teams.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide professional and personalized on-campus tours of USF’s Tampa Campus for prospective students and community groups via digital, in-person, and hybrid formats. (i.e. on-campus tours, virtual tours, Instagram Live, Zoom, Teams, etc.)
  • Interact with, communicate with, and serve visitors and USF community members by providing high-caliber customer service and assistance regarding office and USF information, visitation registrations/reservations, and scheduling via phone, e-mail, Teams chat, social media, etc.

  • Assist both the Domestic and International recruitment teams. Interact with Admission recruiter/advisors and their respective student prospect/applicants via phone call or e-mail. Input data from inquiry cards that prospective students complete at high school visits, college fairs and international travel. Contact student prospect applicants in attempt to bring files to a decision ready status. Verify data of existing/new applicant(s)/student(s) records in student information system.
  • Explain and aid students and parents in the various parts of the application process and steps to become an enrolled student.
  • Make outgoing calls to prospective, applied and admitted students who have expressed an interest in attending USF.
  • Assist Data Management team with document management. Scan, image, and verify application materials received.
  • Assist Mail Center team with mailing information to new as well as prospective students. Prepare information packets, fold letters, stuff envelopes, make photocopies, deliver and pack boxes and maintain a log of all materials sent.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by office staff.

Average Number of Hours per Week: 10

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Potential additional daytime hours & evening hours when needed /Occasional Saturdays 8am -5pm

Minimum Qualifications: Must be a current USF student
